Černobílé šaty Coco (střih od Tilly and the Buttons) / Black and White Coco Dress (pattern by Tilly and the Buttons)

Moje druhé šaty a celkově čtvrtý model, na který jsem použila svůj oblíbený střih Coco od Tilly and the Buttons (kromě šatů jsem podle tohoto střihu ušila dva topy).

Tentokrát jsem použila trošku silnější a teplejší látku, takže se šaty výborně hodí na podzimní nebo jarní období. Narozdíl od prvnho modelu jsem tentokrát přidala rolákový výstřih a manžety.

This is my second dress and the fourth make in total, for which I have used the lovely Coco pattern by Tilly and the Buttons (besides the dresses I have also made two Coco tops).

I used a thicker and warmer fabric for this dress, so it is ideal for autumn or spring. Unlike my previous Coco dress, I have added a funnel neck and cuffs to this version.

Můj nový svetr (střih od Sew House Seven) / My New Toaster Sweater (pattern by Sew House Seven)

Střih na tento svetr od Sew House Seven (v tomto případě verze 2 střihu) se mi moc líbí a šití byla rychlovka. Jen jsem měla zvolit trošku jiný materiál - tento byl poměrně tlustý a měl tendenci se v overlocku zasekávat.

I like this pattern by Sew House Seven very much (in this case I used version 2 of the pattern). The sewing itself was very quick. I only wish I had chosen a different fabric - this one was quite thick and had the tendency to get stuck in my overlocker.

Laclové šaty Cleo v podzimní barvě (střih od Tilly and the Buttons) / Cleo Pinafore in Autumn Colour (pattern by Tilly and the Buttons)

Toto jsou moje druhé šaty ušité podle střihu Cleo od Tilly and the Buttons. Zatímco ty první jsem šila z lehké džínoviny, pro tento podzimní model jsem zvolila manšestr. S oběma materiály se mi pracovalo velice dobře. Pro tyto šaty jsem použila delší verzi střihu.


This is my second dress made from the Cleo pattern by Tilly and the Buttons. While the first dress was made in light denim, I chose corduroy for this autumnal one. Both materials were great to work with. For this dress I used the longer version of the pattern.

Trička Frankie (střih od Tilly and the Buttons) / Frankie T-shirts (pattern by Tilly and the Buttons)

Tento pruhovaný červenobílý bavlněný úplet jsem koupila v menším internetovém obchůdku, (www.m-i-spulka.cz) do kterého jsem dostala poukaz k narozeninám od kolegů z práce (děkuji!).

Úplet je velice kvalitní a dobře se s ním pracovalo. Ušila jsem z něj dvě Frankie trička (podle střihu od Tilly and the Buttons z její knihy Stretch!).

Byl to první střih z této knížky, který jsem vyzkoušela, a jsem z něj nadšená. Trička sedí perfektně, nemusela jsem dělat žádné úpravy.

Nejdříve jsem ušila tričko s dlouhými rukávy, a protože mi ještě kousek pruhovaného úpletu zbyl, koupila jsem ještě bílý úplet a oba jsem zkombinovala ve verzi s krátkým rukávem.


I bought the stripy red and white cotton jersey in a small online shop (www.m-i-spulka.cz), for which I had been given a voucher from my work-colleagues for my birthday (thank you!).

The jersey is of a high quality and very nice to work with. I have turned it into two Frankie T-shirts (pattern by Tilly and the Buttons from the Stretch! book).

This was the first pattern from the book I have tried and I really loved it, it fits perfectly and there were no alterations needed.

At first I made the long sleeve version and as I still had some fabric left, I bought a piece of a white jersey and combined both in the short sleeve version.

Modré laclové šaty Cleo (střih od Tilly and the Buttons) / Blue Cleo Pinafore (pattern by Tilly and the Buttons)

Střih na tyto laclové šaty Cleo od Tilly and the Buttons jsem si zamilovala. Jedná se o jeden z mála střihů, u něhož jsem nemusela dělat žádné úpravy, hlavně proto, že tyto šaty jsou celkově volnější.

Šaty jsem šila z tenčí džínoviny, kterou jsem si koupila na trhu v londýnském Walthamstow během mého jarního výletu. Šilo se z ní báječně. Střih nabízí dvě verze délky - v tomto případě se jedná o tu kratší (delší verzi šatů jsem nedávno ušila také, tentokrát v podzimních barvách; fotky zveřejním později:-)).


I have fallen in love with this pattern for Cleo pinafore by Tilly and the Buttons. It is one of very few patterns where I didn`t have to make any adjustments at all, probably because of the quite loose fit of this dress.

I have made this pinafore from light denim that I bought at the Walthamstow market during my spring visit to London. It was great to work with. This is the shorter version of the two lengths the pattern offers (I have already made the longer version as well, this time in autumn colours; photos will follow later:-)).
