Odličovací tampónky / Make-up remover pads

 Na výrobu odličovacích tampónků jsem použila ručník, který mi ležel doma nevyužitý. Na jedné straně jsem jej potáhla látkou ze stoprocentní bavlny. Tampónky se dají prát na 60˚C a používat opakovaně.

The make-up remover pads are made from a towel, for which I didn`t have any other use. On one side they are covered with a 100 per cent cotton fabric. They can be washed at 60 degrees and are reusable.

 

Z bavlněné látky jsem potom ušila také zásobník na tampónky, který mi visí v koupelně.

 I then sewed a container for the make-up remover pads using a cotton fabric, which is hung in my bathroom.

Šité kočky - dekorace do bytu / Sewn Cats - Home Decoration

Decorace do bytu, která je velice jednoduchá na ušití. Kočky našly své místo na botníku v předsíni.
Základní střih jsem objevila na Pinterest a velikost jsem upravila podle potřeby. Vycpávala jsem náplní z levných polštářů z Ikea.

Easy to sew home decoration - the cats are sitting on my shoe cabinet in the hallway. I have found the pattern on Pinterest and adjusted the size according to my needs. For the filling I used cheap cushions from Ikea.

Zde jsou kočky společně z pejskem, kterého jsem šila už dříve. Leží u vstupních dveří a slouží jako ochrana proti průvanu.

In the picture below, the cats are in the company of a doggie - draught excluder I had sewn earlier. It  normally lies by the entrance door.

Letní šaty Sheona / Sheona Dress

Autorkou střihu těchto letních šatů je řecká návrhářka Athina Kakou. Střih nabízí čtyři různé variace šatů (a střih na tričko), mně nejvíc oslovila tato  "volánková". Šaty byly velice jednoduché a rychlé na ušití. Použila jsem lehčí bavlněný úplet z Domu látek - www.dumlatek.cz

The pattern for this summer dress is by a Greek pattern designer Athina Kakou. There are about four variations of the dress (plus a T-shirt). My favourite one is this one with ruffles at the bottom and at the end of the sleeves. The  dress was a very easy and quick make and I used lightweight cotton jersey from www.dumlatek.cz

Následující projekt patřil k těm nejjednodušším - pyžamové kalhoty Margot (střih je od Tilly and the Buttons z knihy Láska na první steh).

This time a very easy sewing project - Margot pyjama trousers (pattern by Tilly and the Buttons from her book Love at First Stitch).

Šedá mikina / A Grey Hoodie

Tuto mikinu jsem šila pro dceru mojí sestřenice. Použila jsem střih z Ottobre 5/2015, který se mi osvědčil už dříve, když jsem si šila mikinu pro sebe.

I have sewn this hoodie for my cousin`s daughter. I have used a pattern from Ottobre magazine 5/2015, which I had successfully tested before on a hoodie for myself.

Vlevo je mikina, kterou jsem si šila už dříve.

Moje druhá andělka od Tildy / My Second Tilda Angel

 Toto je druhá andělka, kterou jsem šila podle střihu od Tone Finnanger z její knihy Tilda a její nápady (Tilda`s Summer Ideas). Opět se jednalo o dárek k narozeninám, tentokrát pro moji tetu.

This is my second angel sewn using the pattern by Tone Finnanger, which can be found in her book Tilda`s Summer Ideas. Again, it was a birthday present, this time for my aunt.

 A tady je andělka společně se svojí kamarádkou, kterou jsem šila dříve...

Vánoční dekorace na dveře / Christmas Decoration for the Entrance Door

Moje letošní vánoční výzdoba vstupních dveří.

This year`s decoration of the entrance door of my flat.

Na výrobu stromečků budeme potřebovat:
- bavlněné látky s vánoční tématikou
- výplňový materiál (ja jsem použila polštáře z Ikea)
- celou skořici
- stuhu na zavěšení

We will need the following to make the trees:
- Christmas cotton fabrics
- stuffing material (I have used cushions from Ikea)
- whole cinnamon sticks
- a ribbon for hanging up

Vždy dva trojúhelníky látky položíme lícem na sebe a po rubové straně prošijeme po celém obvodu, s výjimkou ca 2 cm v místě kmene. Poté sestřihneme špičky a pomocí otvoru v dolní části obrátíme na líc.

We take two triangles and put them right sides together. We sew them all the way round on the wrong side, leaving a 2 cm hole at the bottom. We cut the tips of the triangle and using the small hole turn the fabric to the right side.

Stromečky vycpeme, v dolní části vložíme skořici-kmen stromu a ručně sešijeme otvor.

We stuff the trees, insert a cinnamon stick to the bottom side and sew the hole by hand.

Nakonec přidáme na zadní stranu stužku, pomocí které můžeme stromečky zavěsit.

In the end we attach a ribbon for hanging up to the back side of the tree.
