Perníkový betlém 2016 / Gingerbread Bethlehem 2016

Jako každé Vánoce, i tento rok je v kostele Sv. Cyrila a Metoděje v Brně-Židenicích k vidění perníkový betlém, do něhož může perníčky napéct kdokoli.


This year - like every Christmas - you can see a Bethlehem made of gingerbread in the church of Saint Cyril and Methodius in Brno-Židenice. Anyone can make ginderbread houses, figures etc. and contribute to the Bethlehem.

Letos jsem se poprvé do pečení a zdobení perníčků zapojila i já s mamkou.
Napekly jsme salaš s pastevcem a ovečkami (použily jsme sadu na výrobu perníčků, kterou prodává Tescoma).

A takhle to celé začalo...


This year my mother and me have taken part in the baking and decorating of gingerbreads for the first time. We have made a chalet with a shepherd and sheep (using a baking set produced by Tescoma).

Šitý kůň / Sewn horse

Tohoto koníka dostal můj přítel Martin k letošnímu svátku.

Letos k nám do Brna přijel Martin na bílém koni už o den dříve, 10. listopadu, na Martina už ale bohužel žádný sníh nepadal. Tak snad už to Martin příští rok nepoplete..:-)

Volné letní kalhoty / Loose summer trousers

Na sklonku léta jsem si ušila tyto pohodlné lehké kalhoty. Škoda, že na další nošení budou muset počkat minimálně do jara...

Střih byl původně určen na pyžamové kalhoty, já jsem jej trošku zúžila.

At the end of the summer I made these comfortable, light trousers. It is a pity that I will be able to wear them again no sooner than in the spring.

The pattern was originally designed for pyjama trousers, I have slightly adjusted the pattern to make them more narrow.

V pase se zavazují na šňůrku protaženou tunýlkem.

 In the waist they are tied with a string sewn from the same fabric.

Nákupní taška / Shopping bag

Při jedné z mých návštěv v brněnské prodejně KARS mě upoutala tato látka s "cestovatelským" vzorem.

Aniž bych v té chvíli tušila, na co ji použiji, hned jsem si cca půl metru musela koupit.

During one of my visits to the shop KARS in Brno, the following fabric with "travel design"caught my attention.

I bought half a metre of it without knowing what I was going to sew from it at that time.

A nakonec vznikla tato taška, ve které momentálně nosím šicí potřeby do kurzu:-)

In the end I made the bag below, which I use for carrying the things I need for my sewing lessons.

Šité žabky / Sewn Frogs

Tyto žabičky jsem objevila na blogu Ivany Za městem u lesa. Ivana ve svém blogu uvedla odkaz na střih, tak jsem je také vyzkoušela.

Na vrchní - zelenou - stranu jsem využila zbytky deky, ze které jsem dříve šila pončo a spodní stranu tvoří odstřižky látek z minulých projektů. Dovnitř jsem použila výplň z polštářů koupených v Ikea.

I have found these cute frogs on the blog Za městem u lesa by Ivana. There was also a link for the pattern included in the blog, so I have decided to make the frogs myself as well.

For the top - green - side I have used leftovers from a blanket, from which I had made a poncho a few months ago. On the bottom side I have used pieces of cotton fabrics used for other projects in the past. I used the stuffing from pillows bought in Ikea.
